In Candlelight: The Last Flame, you awaken as Thomas Gray, a desperate man who volunteers for a fear experiment at the mysterious Candlelight Institute in 1983. Promised money after completing the experiment, Thomas instead finds himself trapped inside a virtual maze, an endless blood-streaked labyrinth where his only companion is a flickering candle that measures his life.

The candle’s light keeps the darkness—and death—at bay. As it burns, your time fades. You must navigate the haunting corridors, collect three purple crystals and find the exit before your flame goes out. Candle pickups can restore your dwindling light but venturing off the main path risks encounters with the maze’s ghastly inhabitants.

Four spectral entities roam the labyrinth, each manifesting a different aspect of fear. The Pursuer hunts relentlessly, growing more solid and terrifying as time passes. The Statue waits in silence, unleashing piercing shrieks when approached. The Phantom flickers into existence only long enough to make you question reality and The Unknown Mutation a glitching corrupting horror—warps your surroundings and drains your sanity.

Built with a custom raycasting engine, Candlelight: The Last Flame combines retro-style graphics with modern psychological horror design. Procedural maze generation ensures no two runs are the same. Your success depends on managing light, fear, and time itself.

When the candle burns out… the experiment ends.

Will you escape before the last flame dies—or will your soul become part of the Candlelight Institute’s next study?
